It is permissible to combine prayers out of necessity, provided it is not made a habit. Therefore, there is no harm in combining the Asr prayer with the Dhuhr prayer by way of advancing it (Jam' Taqdeem) if you are unable to pray it within its time due to your engagement with exams.
