Fasting is abstaining from things that break the fast, from the appearance of true dawn until sunset. With sunset, the fast for that day ends, as Allah Almighty said: "Then complete the fast until the night." Scholars have permitted following a just muezzin who is knowledgeable of prayer times. Therefore, there is no blame on the questioner for having intercourse with his wife after hearing the , as long as the adhan is called for the correct time.
