We have previously discussed the forbidden times for prayer. As for specifying them in minutes: the period between Fajr and sunrise, and between Asr and sunset, varies with the seasons. As for the other three times, each is approximately between ten and fifteen minutes. The longest of these is the time before sunset, then the time after sunrise, and then the time of zawal (meridian).
