The question

What is the ruling on money acquired from gambling dens that did not close during prayer times and were accompanied by singing and brawls? What is the ruling on using it to buy a car, furnish a house, and pay the wife's dowry? Is it permissible to use the premises where these games were played for another business?

The answer

Billiards is permissible with Shariah-compliant controls, whereas foosball is forbidden. All the aforementioned elements, including profit and loss, singing, cursing, swearing, and distraction from prayer, render the earnings unlawful. The questioner must repent, feel remorse, and seek forgiveness, and donate any remaining unlawful money to charitable causes. What he has consumed of it, he is not liable for. What he purchased with these funds is his property, and the matter of paying its value to the poor is subject to the aforementioned dispute. As for the capital and the portion of the earnings that adhered to Shariah-compliant controls, it is his right, and he is not obligated to sell the shop or dispose of the games, but rather to regulate them according to Shariah-compliant controls.
