"Whoever sees the Kaaba must face its very essence, by consensus. As for those who do not see it, facing its direction suffices. A slight deviation by worshippers from the direction does not invalidate the prayer if they are still facing the general direction of the Kaaba, but it is better to correct the direction. However, a significant deviation that takes them out of the Qibla's direction invalidates the prayer and necessitates rebuilding the mosque or placing indicative lines."
