What you feel are the snares of Satan and his whispers, intended to deprive you of the joy of devotion and communion with Allah. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said about the devil of prayer, named Khanzab: "If you sense him, seek refuge in Allah from him and spit lightly to your left three times." So strive for devotion, seek Allah's help, and firmly repel the whisperings of Satan.
