What is the wisdom behind choosing the current prayer times at this particular timing?

Allah Almighty created the jinn and mankind to worship Him, and commanded them to establish prayer at specific times. A Muslim must obey Allah Almighty's command. Most scholars believe that specifying prayer times is an act of worship whose reason has not been revealed, while some have explained its reason. Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned that among the wisdom behind commanding prayer time after time is to remind the servant of his Lord, so that a long period does not pass and he forgets.
