What should women do upon hearing the adhan before the time for prayer in Yemen, and should they wait for the iqamah despite hardship? Does sin fall upon the muezzin if the prayer is invalid? Is it obligatory to seek out the adhan of Sunni mosques when unable to distinguish? Should a Muslim pray or break their fast upon hearing the first adhan, or should they ascertain the entry of the time for prayer through their own diligence?

The prayer is not valid unless one knows that the time has begun or has a strong presumption of it. If one prays while doubting, their prayer is not sufficient. It is permissible to rely on the information provided by trustworthy muezzins who are knowledgeable of the prayer times, as long as their error is not proven by evidence. However, if their error becomes apparent, then it is not permissible to rely on their adhan (definition). Instead, one must wait until knowledge or a strong presumption of the prayer time's entry is attained.
