When hearing multiple calls to prayer (adhan) from satellite channels, should we say: "O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and the standing prayer, grant Muhammad the Wasilah (highest station in Paradise) and the Fadheelah (superiority), and raise him to the praised station that You promised him"? And when Friday sermons heard and watched from satellite channels conclude, should we say: "Ameen" and raise our hands in supplication during the prayer?

Responding to the Adhan (definition) (call to prayer) is a confirmed Sunnah (definition), based on the Prophet Muhammad's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "When you hear the Mu'adhdhin, say what he says, then invoke blessings upon me, for indeed, whoever invokes blessings upon me once, Allah will invoke blessings upon him ten times. Then ask Allah for al-Wasilah for me, for it is a station in Paradise that is befitting for only one of Allah's servants, and I hope that I am he. Whoever asks Allah for al-Wasilah for me, my intercession becomes due for him."

Imam Al-Nawawi mentioned that responding to the first Adhan is a confirmed Sunnah, and responding to subsequent Adhans is permissible and has the virtue of repetition and reward, but it is not a confirmed Sunnah. It is also permissible to say "Amin" behind someone who supplicates in any place where their supplication can be heard.
