The question

When should a menstruating woman begin to check for the cessation of menstruation, and should she check for it on the days when purity is expected? Is it necessary for her to check at the beginning of every prayer, at the end of prayer times, before sleeping, and before napping?

The answer

One must ascertain purity when it is probable, such as when intending to sleep at night or at prayer times, so that no obligatory prayer is missed. It is not necessary to ascertain purity at the very end of the prayer time, nor when taking a midday nap (qaylulah).
