The answer

There are many reprehensible acts (makroohaat) in prayer, among them:

1. As-Sadl (letting down one's garment): The worshiper drapes a garment over his shoulders without throwing one of its ends over the other shoulder. 2. Ishtimal as-Samma’ (enveloping oneself completely): A man covers his body entirely with a garment without leaving openings for his hands and feet. 3. At-Talththum (muffling oneself): Covering the mouth with a garment or similar item. 4. Kaff ash-Sha'r wa ath-Thawb (tucking up hair and garment): Gathering and collecting them. 5. Tashabbuh bil-Kuffar (imitating disbelievers): Such as placing hands on the hips or tying the waist like a belt. 6. Tashabbuh bil-Hayawan (imitating animals): Such as the crouching of a dog (sticking the buttocks to the ground and raising the shins) or the sprawling of a dog in prostration (sticking the forearms to the ground) or the turning of a fox. 7. Slight movement without need: Such as turning the face or fiddling with one's hand in one's garment or beard. 8. Sticking the belly to the thighs during prostration. 9. Praying in a distracting garment or place.

Some of these reprehensible acts, such as the worshiper turning, may invalidate the prayer if done excessively.
