The answer

A Muslim on the moon or any other planet prays as do the people on Earth, and he directs his prayer towards the Earth, for the Earth is his qiblah; this is based on Allah's saying: "And wherever you are, turn your faces toward it." The "shatr" of a thing means its direction, and the direction of the Kaaba for him is the direction in which the Earth is located.
