How does the Imam sit after concluding the prayer?

It is recommended for the Imam, after the prayer, to turn his face towards the congregants, either to his right or left. It is disliked for him to remain facing the Qibla (definition), due to the hadith (definition) of Samurah: "When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, finished a prayer, he would turn his face towards us." And due to the hadith of Aisha: "When he finished the prayer, he would not remain in his place except for the duration of saying: 'O Allah, You are As-Salam (the Source of Peace), and from You is all peace; blessed are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor.'" Also, his remaining would give the impression to someone entering that he is still praying.
