Is it permissible to complete the post-prayer remembrances while walking outside the mosque after finishing the prayer?

The matter of a worshiper remaining in their prayer place after prayer for remembrance (dhikr) is broad. Imam Ibn Hajar mentioned that the Imam and the worshipers have the choice between leaving or staying for dhikr. However, staying in the mosque for dhikr is better, due to the agreed-upon Hadith (definition) of Abu Hurairah that the angels pray for one of you as long as he remains in his prayer place where he prayed, as long as he does not break his ablution or cause harm. His statement: "in his prayer place" includes remaining in his prayer spot or moving to another spot in the mosque as long as he is waiting for prayer.
