What is the ruling of the Maliki school regarding purifying clothes from urine drops that continue to fall for a period after urinating, given the difficulty of purifying or changing them?

One must be cautious of waswasah (whispers/obsessive thoughts). If the questioner is not certain that urine has exited, they should ignore the matter and sprinkle water on their clothes.

If the questioner is certain that urine has exited, then waiting until the drops cease, then performing ablution and praying is valid. It is obligatory to purify the place of impurity by performing istinja (definition)' (washing the private parts) and washing whatever the clothes were exposed to.

The Maliki school of thought offers leniency regarding impurity resulting from recurring hadath (definition) (minor ritual impurity). However, if the questioner is able to prevent the drops from exiting, then it is an ordinary hadath for which the usual rules of purification apply.

It is preferable to adopt the view of the majority scholars, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded the woman with istihada (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding) to take precautions. One who is not excused is even more deserving of doing so. Therefore, it is not permissible to be lenient by abandoning precautions based on the Maliki fatwa (definition).

If the questioner fears harm from wearing a cloth, or forgets it and fears that the prayer time will expire, and cannot find anything to wash the urine with, then it is permissible for them to pray with the impurity present due to their inability to remove it, for Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity.
