The question

What is the ruling on drops of urine that descend after performing istinjaʾ or during wuduʾ or prayer, knowing that there is a recurring feeling of a desire to urinate and the involuntary emission of drops after the initial urination? And is a person held accountable for that?

The answer

Urine is impure by scholarly consensus, and prayer is invalid if it is present on the worshiper's clothes, body, or the place of prayer directly connected to them. For those afflicted with the discharge of urine drops after purification () or during or after ablution (wudu): wait a little until you are certain of its discharge, then protect yourself by placing a cloth or tissues. Then, wait for a period after which you believe no more urine will descend. After that, remove the cloth or tissues, perform istinja and wudu, and then pray. It is advisable to consult a specialized female doctor and the consultation section of the website.
