Does anything ensue from a person purchasing items (such as books or a car) while intentionally not praying Fajr and being in a state of disbelief—as the questioner believes—to the extent that he considers getting rid of them?

Some scholars have gone to the extent of deeming whoever intentionally misses a single prayer until its time expires to be a disbeliever. However, the preponderant opinion among the majority of scholars is that this does not constitute disbelief that expels one from the fold of Islam. According to the view that considers the one who abandons prayer to be a disbeliever, he is not obligated to dispose of what he purchased in that state; rather, he must seek forgiveness and repent.
