Is it permissible for a traveler to combine and shorten prayers upon returning home after the Maghrib call to prayer, if they have not yet prayed Maghrib and Isha?

It is not permissible to combine prayers (Jama') or shorten them (Qasr) for prayers that share a time slot, such as Dhuhr and Asr, and Maghrib and Isha, if the traveler reaches their home. However, if they arrive during the time of the second prayer of the pair, then combining is permissible, but not shortening. If they arrive during the time of the first prayer, they should only pray the first prayer without shortening it, and when the time for the other prayer comes, they should pray it as a resident. Maghrib prayer is not shortened. So, if you return to your home after Maghrib, you should pray Maghrib at its prescribed time, then pray Isha at its prescribed time as a full prayer, not shortened.
