Is it permissible to go to Tarawih prayers secretly if one's father forbids it due to studies?

Scholars have differed on what is superior between performing Tarawih prayer individually or in congregation. However, if a father prevents his son from going to it, there is no blame upon him to pray it at home, combining obedience to his father with worship. If it is impossible to combine the two, then he either disobeys his father or abandons Tarawih. Obedience to the father is obligatory, while Tarawih is a Sunnah (definition), and what is obligatory takes precedence. This is provided that obedience to the parent is not permissible if it leads to abandoning an obligation or committing a forbidden act.
