Please detail the voluntary prayers, including their ranks, timings, and rulings, including the "Shaf' and Witr," meaning all non-obligatory prayers.
Praise be to Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, and companions. As for what follows:
The supererogatory prayers are of two types: those tied to obligatory acts (the Rawatib) and those that are not. The confirmed Rawatib are twelve rak'ahs: four before Zuhr, two after it, two after Maghrib and Isha, and two before Fajr. The unconfirmed include: four before Asr, two before Maghrib and Isha.
Other supererogatory prayers include Witr (from one to eleven rak'ahs), and the prayer of Duha (from two to twelve rak'ahs), and confirmed acts like Wudu and (two rak'ahs each). There are also collective prayers like the two Eids, seeking rain, and eclipses (two rak'ahs each). Finally, there are unrestricted supererogatory prayers that are performed at times not prohibited.
