The answer

The prayer of a ma'mum (follower) is not invalidated by a woman passing in front of him, because the sutrah (barrier) of the imam (leader) serves as a sutrah for him. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen mentioned that a woman passing by invalidates the prayer, unless the worshiper is following an imam, for the sutrah of the imam serves as a sutrah for him and for those behind him, and he cited the of Ibn Abbas as evidence.
