Am I sinful for not paying attention to what I saw of a viscous fluid after a dream and ignoring it because I suffer from obsessive-compulsive disorder? Do I have to repeat my prayers and fasting during that period?
We ask Allah to heal you, and we advise you to turn away from the whisperings (of Satan). The whisperings concerning the emission of semen do not necessitate (ritual bath). The principle is that it did not occur, and this is not invalidated by doubt, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "He should not leave (the prayer) until he hears a sound or smells a scent." Doubt about the emission of semen during fasting does not invalidate it. Therefore, your prayers and your fasts are valid, and there is no need for repetition or make-up. Turning away from the whisperings is the beneficial cure for them.
