Does ejaculation resulting from extreme stress invalidate ablution, necessitate a ritual bath (ghusl), or break the fast, and is the one who does it sinful?

If semen is emitted due to stress and without the usual pleasure, it does not necessitate ghusl (ritual bath) according to the Hanbalis, Malikis, and Hanafis; rather, it only invalidates wudu (ablution). The Shafi'is, however, hold that ghusl is obligatory for the emission of semen in all cases. Ibn Qudamah mentioned that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, described the semen that necessitates ghusl as being thick and white, and he said: "If you gush forth water, then perform ghusl." It also states in the fatwas of the Permanent Committee that the emission of semen in a gushing manner with pleasure necessitates ghusl. As for its emission without pleasure, it only necessitates istinja (washing the private parts) and wudu, unless it is from someone asleep, in which case it necessitates ghusl in all circumstances. The emission of semen due to stress does not invalidate fasting.
