Does the emission of semen from a thoyyib woman to the outer part of the vulva, which becomes visible when sitting to relieve oneself, necessitate ghusl? And is it obligatory to inspect this area after every sleep, even if no wet dream occurred, considering the hardship and the potential for promoting obsessive doubts and confusing semen with constant discharges? Can we adopt the view of the Malikis, who hold that semen necessitates ghusl if it exits the vulva? And does the presence of discharges on the outer vulva, without them exiting it, invalidate wudu?

The Maliki school of thought obligates the Thayyib (previously married woman) to perform Ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) if semen reaches the outer part of the vagina. As for the virgin (Al-bikr), Ghusl is not obligatory unless the semen comes out of the vagina. It is permissible for a Muslim to follow any of the recognized jurisprudential schools of thought. One should not give in to the whisperings (waswas) concerning the exit of semen, and the default is that it has not exited unless there is proof. Vaginal discharge does not invalidate ablution unless it reaches the ruling of the visible (outer) part, such that it can be purified.
