Does the ruling on delaying the 'Asr prayer — especially to ensure ritual purity — apply to the noble Hadith: "Whoever leaves the 'Asr prayer, his deeds have been rendered void"?

A menstruating woman is not permitted to pray until she verifies her purity and performs ghusl (definition) (ritual bath). Purity is recognized by two signs: dryness or the white discharge (al-qassah al-bayda’). Dryness is confirmed by inserting a cotton swab and it comes out clean. If she sees any yellowish or brownish discharge (sufrah or kudrah), she is still considered to be menstruating and is not allowed to pray. Once she becomes pure, she must perform the prayer before its time expires, according to the times specified by Islamic law.
