Semen is a thick, white, or yellowish fluid in women, with an odor resembling dough. It is expelled with a forceful gush, accompanied by great pleasure and followed by a sense of languor, and it necessitates ghusl (definition) (ritual bath). As for madhy (definition) (pre-seminal fluid), it is a thin, white, sticky fluid like water, which is discharged during minor pleasure without a gush or languor. It is impure and only nullifies wudu (ablution), and it does not necessitate ghusl.
