The answer

is only obligatory when one is certain of the emission of semen which necessitates it. If there is doubt about it, the woman has the choice between the possibilities she is unsure about and assigns to it the ruling of one of them. As for normal discharges, they only necessitate ablution (Wudu'). Likewise, yellowish discharge (sufrah) necessitates ritual cleansing (') and ablution. One should resist obsessive doubts (waswas) and act upon certainty when the type of discharge is known, and choose when in doubt. The emission of semen is not necessitated merely by seeing it in a dream, and there is no specific quantity for semen.
