Is ghusl obligatory for a woman who felt semen discharge after she moved her phone away from her eyes while watching an indecent scene, without lowering the volume?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
If the well-known semen with its characteristics is discharged, (ritual bath) becomes obligatory. However, if it is not semen, or if it is discharged without desire, ghusl is not obligatory. If what occurred was merely a sensation of semen being discharged without it actually coming out, then nothing is required of her. One must be careful not to watch indecent videos.
