Is it necessary to inspect one's clothes upon waking to ascertain ritual impurity (janabah), or is it sufficient to perform ghusl upon feeling the wetness of a nocturnal emission (ihtilam)? And must the Dawn prayer (Fajr) be repeated if one forgot to check their clothes, then later felt the wetness of a nocturnal emission? And is it obligatory to perform ghusl and repeat the prayer immediately, or can this be delayed?

There is no obligation to search one's clothes for impurity or semen after waking up, and there is no evidence from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to indicate this. Therefore, if the questioner does not find any wetness upon waking, then ghusl (definition) is not required of him, nor is he obligated to repeat the prayers he performed before sleeping. However, if he finds wetness, then ghusl is obligatory upon him.
