Is it obligatory for someone who deliberately delays prayer to perform a ghusl before making it up, or is making it up sufficient? And what is the ruling on someone who used to delay prayer for a day or two after menstruation and then pray without performing ghusl? And what is the ruling on someone who delays prayer until its time expires or combines prayers, and is ghusl required for that?

Delaying prayer beyond its prescribed time intentionally is a major sin by the unanimous consensus of Muslims. However, the fatwa (definition) adopted by us is that abandoning prayer out of laziness does not constitute disbelief that expels one from the fold of Islam. Therefore, a ritual bath (ghusl (definition)) is not required to make up for a missed prayer; rather, ablution (wudu') suffices. One must be extremely cautious about being negligent with prayer, as its status is great in Islam.
