Is it obligatory for someone who has had intercourse with his wife on a Ramadan night to perform ghusl?

Ghusl (definition) from janabah (definition) is obligatory for anyone who does not have a valid religious impediment preventing them from purification, based on the Almighty's saying: "And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves," and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "When he sits between her four branches and then strives hard, ghusl becomes obligatory." Women and men are equal in this ruling. It is permissible to delay ghusl until dawn breaks.
