Is it permissible for me to adopt the view of those who permit waiting a day and a half after seeing dryness during menstruation, due to the hardship involved in frequent ghusl?

It is permissible for a menstruating woman, when her bleeding stops and she sees dryness during her usual period, to wait half a day or more than a day, especially if there is hardship, which is what Ibn Qudamah preferred. However, the preponderant and authoritative opinion is that ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) becomes obligatory as soon as she sees dryness; based on the statement of Ibn Abbas: "It is not permissible for her, when she sees purity for an hour, except to perform ghusl." There is no statement from any scholar permitting waiting a day and a half after the bleeding stops.
