Is it permissible for my husband to delay performing ghusl (ritual bath) after janabah (state of ritual impurity) under the pretext that he will get dirty when he goes out to the market?

There is no blame upon the husband for delaying the ritual bath (ghusl (definition)) from major impurity (janabah (definition)) before the prayer time begins. However, once the prayer time is due, it is impermissible to delay the ghusl, as this would lead to delaying the prayer beyond its prescribed time without a valid excuse. A prayer performed without ghusl is invalid due to the absence of the condition of purity.
