Is it permissible to enter into the state of ihram from Jeddah after purification from menstruation, or is it obligatory to enter into ihram from Ta'if, knowing that Ta'if is closer to the original miqat?

A female traveler to Saudi Arabia who intends to perform Umrah (definition) during her trip must enter into the state of Ihram (definition) for Umrah from the Miqat (definition) she passes through, even if she has another purpose, such as shopping. It is advisable to enter into Ihram before reaching the Miqat, out of concern for possibly overshooting it. It is not permissible to delay entering into Ihram until Jeddah. Furthermore, menstruation does not prevent one from entering into Ihram, but circumambulation (Tawaf (definition)) is not permissible until after purity and performing ghusl (definition) (ritual bath).
