The answer

Allah has bestowed upon His servants the blessing of sleep for the body's rest and the digestion of food. The sleep of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was the most balanced and beneficial; he used to sleep in the early part of the night and wake up in the second half. The best times for sleep at night are when needed, and the worst times are during the day, with the exception of the siesta (qaylulah) in summer. Sleeping after Asr is considered among the worst times, and it has been said, "Whoever sleeps after Asr and loses his intellect should blame no one but himself." As for bathing or after Asr, there is no prohibition or command regarding it, and it is permissible like any other time.
