Must one make up prayers performed without a full ritual bath (ghusl) after major ritual impurity (janabah) during the early years of puberty, or should only the prayers of the last few months be made up, during which the bath was incomplete?

Scholars have differed regarding one who unknowingly omits a condition of prayer, such as omitting ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) out of ignorance of its obligation or of having to wash certain body parts. Does he have to make up the prayers or not? Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and a group of scholars are of the view that there is no make-up. However, the majority view is that making them up is obligatory. There is no harm in following the opinion of those who do not consider making them up obligatory, as it is a valid opinion. Nevertheless, what is more cautious and absolves one's responsibility is to make them up, in order to avoid disagreement and act upon the opinion of the majority.
