What is the ruling on blood that stops and then returns after performing ghusl and before prayer? Does blood stop and then return? Is there zakat on a gold gift? Is it sufficient to perform istinja' once after urinating? And what is the ruling on saying "Bismillah" before wudu' in the restroom?

One must promptly perform (ritual bath) and pray upon seeing purity, indicated by one of its two signs (al-jufuf - dryness, or al-qassah al-bayda' - white discharge). The woman is then considered pure, and all rulings applicable to pure women apply to her. If blood returns, she reverts to being in menstruation. Some scholars permit waiting half a day or a full day after seeing purity by dryness to ensure the cessation of blood, because it is customary for blood to flow and then stop. This opinion may be adopted if it is more lenient, although the first opinion is more cautious.
