What is the ruling on doubting a wet dream and not knowing the characteristics of semen, or seeing fleeting fantasies of the couple's private situation while awake?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
If you doubt the emission of semen, then (ritual bath) is not obligatory upon you, because the default is that it has not been emitted, and certainty is not removed by doubt. Ghusl is not obligatory unless you are certain of the emission of semen which necessitates it.
