What is the ruling on one who fasted while in a state of major ritual impurity (junub), out of laziness to perform ghusl, and only purified himself upon waking from sleep?

It is permissible for a fasting person to wake up in a state of (ritual impurity), but delaying the (ritual bath) from janabah until the prayer time has expired is forbidden.
