What is the ruling on performing ghusl one day after janabah, if a fluid is found in the upper vagina and there is doubt as to whether it is semen or madhy?
Look at the discharge. If it is maniyy (seminal fluid), a new (ritual bath) is required, even if a ghusl was previously performed for a prior emission of maniyy. This is because the (ritual impurity) is attributed to the most recent time it could have occurred. It is presumed that this maniyy was discharged during sleep, and ghusl is obligatory even if you do not recall a wet dream. However, if it is (pre-seminal fluid), then wudu' (ablution) is required, and whatever it touched on the body and clothes must be purified. If it is ordinary discharge, then only wudu' is required. If you are unsure about the type of fluid, you may choose the ruling for any of them.
