What is the ruling regarding the fluid that exits after a wet dream or after watching something that arouses desire, if its characteristics do not match those of `mani` (such as being small in quantity, transparent, without odor or pleasure)? Is it considered `mani` which necessitates `ghusl`, or `madhi` which necessitates `wudu` only?

When in doubt about a discharge, whether it is *maniy* (seminal fluid) or *madhiy* (pre-seminal fluid), one may choose. If one is certain it is *maniy*, ** (ritual bath) becomes obligatory. If one is certain it is *madhiy*, *wudu* (ablution) becomes obligatory, and what has touched the body and garment must be purified. Feeling pleasure during sleep is not a condition for the discharge to be *maniy*. If a sleeping person finds something on his garment and does not recall a wet dream or pleasure, *ghusl* becomes obligatory upon him. Watching forbidden scenes is prohibited, and lowering one's gaze is obligatory.
