Urine droplets must be eliminated by all possible means, such as shaking and light squeezing, until it is highly probable that the urinary tract is free of anything feared to exit, without exaggeration that leads to obsessive thoughts or harms one's health. Scholars have differed on the method of istibra' (ensuring no urine remains). Some people achieve the desired result with minimal squeezing, while others need to repeat it, clear their throat, or walk. It is recommended to sprinkle water on the private parts and trousers to cut off obsessive thoughts.
