Does touching the penis while performing ghusl (ritual bath) after major ritual impurity invalidate the wudu (ablution) taken beforehand?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
The majority of scholars hold that touching the male organ nullifies ablution. Therefore, if a person performs ablution during (ritual bath) and then touches his male organ during the ghusl, his ablution becomes invalid. However, this does not affect the validity of the ghusl itself.
