The answer

What doctors know is that infections cause discharge to exit from the uterus, not from the urinary opening. This discharge is known as the wetness of a woman's private parts. It is not maniy (seminal fluid) that necessitates (ritual bath), but it does invalidate wudu' (ablution) according to the general consensus of scholars. The issued is that it is pure, and washing whatever of it gets on clothes is more cautious.
