The answer

The cure for obsessive thoughts (waswas) is to disregard them and pay them no mind. What has been mentioned appears to be merely a form of waswas, so it must be ignored. If one has relieved oneself, they should perform ablution (wudu) and pray without concern for these delusions. If one is certain that drops come out after urination, they must wait until they cease, then perform ablution and pray. The Malikis hold that it is not obligatory to remove this impurity in such a case. A person afflicted with waswas can avail themselves of the easiest scholarly opinions to alleviate hardship and difficulty. The questioner's ruling is not that of a person with chronic incontinence (salasil), as long as the drops stop for a sufficient time to perform purification and prayer.
