What is the effect of false eyelashes used for adornment, of all types (temporary, long-term, permanent), on ritual purity (tahara)?

Purification (ablution or ) is not valid if there is a barrier preventing water from reaching the skin. If artificial eyelashes prevent water from reaching the skin, then purification performed with them is not valid. However, if they are light and do not prevent water from reaching the skin, then purification performed with them is valid.
