The answer

Surat Al-Mulk is a magnificent that intercedes for its reciter until he is forgiven and protects him from the torment of the grave. There is no condition that it be recited at night or during the day. Rather, it is by diligently memorizing it, understanding it, and acting upon it in prayer and other matters. It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud that Surat Al-Mulk prevents the torment of the grave, and it is the preventer, and that it is mentioned in the Torah, and whoever recites it on a given night has done much and well.
