The aforementioned hadith (definition) was narrated by Al-Hakim and mentioned by Ibn al-Jawzi in Al-Mawdu'at (Fabricated Hadith). It contains weak narrators and those who are deniers of hadith. Its text contradicts authentic hadiths that prohibit reciting the Qur'an in ruku' (bowing) and sujud (definition) (prostration), such as the Prophet's (peace be upon him) prohibition of it to Ali and Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), where he commanded magnifying the Lord in ruku' and striving in supplication in sujud.
