I want to know the ruling on buying and trading shares of Netflix, Inc.?

It is not permissible to invest in Netflix company shares because its activity is based on producing, distributing, and displaying forbidden entertainment and dramatic content that violates Sharia (definition) guidelines. Furthermore, it engages in financially forbidden contracts according to Sharia, such as: Contracts for Difference (options and futures) and leverage, which combines lending and brokerage. This makes purchasing its shares a form of assistance in sin.
