What is the ruling on spending the night outside Mina on the Day of Sacrifice due to lack of transportation and severe fatigue, and does this entail a دم (sacrificial offering)?

Staying overnight in Mina during the nights of the days of Tashreeq is obligatory according to the majority of jurists, and whoever fails to do so without an excuse must offer a sacrifice (dam). As for someone who fails to stay overnight there, being capable of it but ignorant of its boundaries, they are not excused; because it was incumbent upon them to inquire. If a pilgrim misses staying overnight in Mina for one night, they must feed one poor person (a mudd of food), and not offer a sacrifice. However, if they miss staying overnight for all the nights (three nights), they must offer a sacrifice.
